The reason that I am in a wheelchair is that I had pneumonia when I was 6 weeks old and one of my lungs collapsed. My late dad’s family were members of the Salvation Army and my uncle played a coronet, which is probably where I get my musical ability from. When I say I play the keyboard and read music people seem surprised, well the Lord may have taken away half my body and my legs but He has given me some musical ability. A few years ago I found out I had high cholesterol since then I have to take simvastatin I have also taught myself how to build websites. I was brought up a Catholic and have been to Lourdes where I was immersed in the holy water that comes from the Pyrenees, I can assure you it was freezing. I made my first Holy Communion there. I have read the bible from old to New Testament and attend a bible study. Like most men I like to watch football, but sometimes I have to choose whether to watch football or go to bible study which I enjoy very much. I choose bible study over football as it is an important part of my life like going to church on Sunday. I am a member of my local Baptist Church, I have made a lot of new friends there they treat me as a equal, they do not talk down to me
